The claws paws are out.
An old Lana Del Rey demo has leaked on line Tuesday, in which the songstress threw some seriously shade at Lady Gaga.
Titled “So Legit,” the song calls out the Mother Monster’s real name, Stefani Germanotta, and pokes fun of the popstar’s looks and music. The unearthed tune was reportedly recorded four years ago when the “Video Games” singer was still touring under the name Lizzy Grant.
She croons on the track:
Stefani you suck / I know you selling 20 million / Wish they could’ve seen you when we booed you off in Williamsburg. / You’re looking like a man, you’re talking like a baby / How the f*** is your song in a Coke commercial, crazy / You called me the queen of the downtown scene, babe / How the f*** would you go switch it up and then replace me?
Back in 2009, the two singers crossed paths when they were handled by the same manager, Bob Leone, and played gigs together throughout Brooklyn, N.Y.
Del Rey has since found fame with the release of her 2012 album, Born To Die, while Gaga was recently named as Forbes‘ top-earning celeb under 30.
