When NBC’s The Voice returns for Season 4 in March, there will be a new dynamic amongst the coaches as Shakira and Usher will taking over for Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green alongside Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.
“It’s bittersweet,” Aguilera told Celebuzz after Tuesday night’s live finale, which crowned Cassadee Pope as the Season 3 winner. “I’m not going to lie, watching the footage – the happy birthday wishes – the guys, we have a lot of fun and a lot of laughs and we bicker, we love each other like family, like brothers and sisters.”
“I’m going to miss him,” she said jokingly punching fellow coach Levine who walked the carpet with her. “He’ll miss me too. Nobody can bust his balls like me. “
Levine confirmed, “I’m going to miss it, I can’t lie, I’m going to miss it.”
Both coaches were extraordinarily happy to see Team Blake contestant Cassadee take the top spot on the reality show, beating out fellow Team Blake contestant Terry McDermott and Team Cee Lo contestant Nicholas David.
“Cassadee was amazing and we all saw her grow throughout the process of the show and it’s well deserved,” said Aguilera.
Aguilera will be taking a hiatus from The Voice to go on tour in support of her most recent album Lotus. Meanwhile, Levine and Maroon 5 will also be touring in the winter of 2013. So what can we expect from their respective tours?
“Awesomeness,” said Levine. “Double quote that,” Aguilera laughed.
Season 4 of The Voice premieres on Mar. 25, 2013 on NBC.
