The On the Road star has been dragged through the mud since news broke of her cheating scandal with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director (Rupert Sanders) back in July. But in an interview with Newsweek, she publicly acknowledged the issue that she has kept quiet about for months.
“I apologize to everyone for making them so angry. It was not my intention,” Stewart continued.
The apology came this week as we stare down the New Year. Could it be that Stewart is ready to move on from all the bad press and turn over a new leaf?
It sure seems that way — and she’s taking it one step at a time.
“It’s a little annoying having to be so compartmentalized. I go from box to box to box. Like right now, this is so crazy ’cause we’re out at a restaurant,” she told the magazine. “But I’m going out a lot more now. I was starting to get closed off and self-conscious, and I’m trudging forth into the world more often.”
We’re rooting for you, KStew! Hopefully this year will be a fresh start for the 22-year-old actress. After all, she and once-wounded beau Robert Pattinson seem to have patched things up.
