HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Lisa Marie Presley has welcomed twin baby girls with her husband Michael Lockwood, People magazine confirms.
The 40-year-old singer gave birth via C-section on Tuesday afternoon. The couple’s first children together weighed in at 5 lbs., 15 oz. and 5 lbs., 2 oz, Presley’s rep Cindy Guagenti tells the magazine.

The 40-year-old singer gave birth via C-section on Tuesday afternoon. The couple’s first children together weighed in at 5 lbs., 15 oz. and 5 lbs., 2 oz, Presley’s rep Cindy Guagenti tells the magazine.
“The babies and mom are happy and healthy and resting at home,” said Guagenti.
The names of the babies have yet to be released.
The couple first confirmed that they were expecting twins to Entertainment Tonight in August.
“We are beyond thrilled and blessed, elated and saturated in happiness,” Presley later blogged on her MySpace page after the announcement.
Presley and Lockwood, who is his wife’s guitarist and music producer, were married on Jan. 22, 2006. It was the fourth marriage for Presley, who also has a daughter Riley, 19, and son, Benjamin, 15, with her first husband, Danny Keough.
