Celebrity Bits: Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick Headed for Divorce?

The rumors are heating up again that Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick could be headed for divorce. Last year, Star magazine alleged that Broderick was caught having an affair with a younger woman, and now the mag says the couple is headed for splitsville.

“The time has come when she realizes it just isn’t worth it,” one insider tells the mag. “Sarah Jessica is determined to get her own place and bring down the curtain on her marriage.”

“Sarah’s not stupid. She knows exactly what’s going on,” added another source. “For a while it was easier for her to stay than go through a harsh divorce. They’re essentially living separate lives.”

A rep for Cindy Crawford is shooting down reports claiming the supermodel has a beef with “Hannah Montana.”

On Tuesday, several gossip sites reported that Crawford had banned her 7-year-old daughter, Kaya, from watching the Disney hit starring Miley Cyrus.

“I love ‘Hannah Montana,’ but [my daughter] learns to be sassy from that show,” Crawford was quoted as saying. “I’ll say to her, ‘I don’t let anyone talk to me like that. I’ll certainly not take it from a 7-year-old in my own house.’ “

However, when reached for comment, Crawford’s publicist denied any truth to the statement.

“I don’t know where this quote came from. It doesn’t sound like Cindy,” the rep told MTV News. “I just spoke to Cindy, and she said that she is a fan of ‘Hannah Montana,’ and she has taken her daughter to multiple shows.”

Christie Brinkley and her ex-hubby, Peter Cook, are reportedly at war again.

The pair, who engaged in a very public and bitter divorce battle last summer, are said to be fighting over Brinkley’s failure to fork over their 13-year-old son Jack’s passport, which was needed in order for him to travel with Cook on a November school trip to Egypt.

Brinkley’s supposed stalling led Jack to miss the jaunt and now Cook has filed legal papers accusing her of contempt of court.

The “Uptown Girl’s” attorney, Peter Caronia, was quick to dismiss the allegations, calling them “baseless and really rather petty.”

Blame it on the alcohol — at least that’s what Josh Brolin would like everyone to think. The 40-year-old star stole the show Monday night after winning Best Supporting Actor at the New York Film Critics Awards for his turn in “Milk.” After being introduced by Sean Penn, Brolin had some rather choice words for his “American Gangster” co-star, Russell Crowe. “Quite an actor, Sean Penn. And not an a**hole like Russell Crowe,” he told the crowd. For good measure, Brolin then repeated: “Like Russell Crowe.”

Forget about seeing Nicole Richie on “Gossip Girl.”

There have been ongoing rumors that Richie would make a guest appearance on the hit CW show, but a rep for the former “Simple Life” star tells Access Hollywood: “This is not correct [or] true information.”

Conan O’Brien will tape his final episode of “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” in New York on Feb. 20. It will be the comic’s final East Coast show before heading West and taking over hosting duties for “The Tonight Show.”
