HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — NBA star Marko Jaric may have pulled off the biggest slam dunk of his career.
The Minnesota Timberwolves guard and his girlfriend, supermodel Adriana Lima, eloped on Valentine’s Day, getting married in a private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyo., People confirmed on Monday.
The couple had been dating for less than a year when the Serbia native proposed on the Brazilian model’s 27th birthday last June.

The Minnesota Timberwolves guard and his girlfriend, supermodel Adriana Lima, eloped on Valentine’s Day, getting married in a private civil ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyo., People confirmed on Monday.
The couple had been dating for less than a year when the Serbia native proposed on the Brazilian model’s 27th birthday last June.
Lima told the mag that the pair is planning a wedding celebration this summer in one of their homelands.
“We are so excited about our future together,” she said. “And we are really looking forward to a big romantic wedding this summer with all of our friends and family.”
The 29-year-old Jaric, who played on the Serbian National Team when they won the 2002 World Basketball Championships, previously told People that he was swept off his feet by the Victoria’s Secret model, who was discovered in a mall at the age of 13.
“I was not the person to fall in love easily,” he said. “I am a difficult person from that standpoint.”
