NEW YORK — Madonna’s relationship with Brazilian model Jesus Luz appears to be heating up, with the pair getting cozy again over the weekend in New York City.
On Saturday, Madonna and Luz were photographed taking the “Material Girl’s three children — Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 8, and David, 3 — to a Kabbalah service in New York City.
The couple was then spotted enjoying a romantic dinner together the following night at a local hotspot.
Madonna, 50, met her much younger 22-year-old beau in December while shooting a W magazine spread in Rio de Janeiro. Luz’s family has since expressed outrage, with his mother, Cristiane Regina da Silva, recently telling the New York Post that she believes Madonna kidnapped her son and is controlling his every move. Her dismay may have something to do with the fact that she’s 14 years younger than the woman her son is currently dating.
Another person who finds the romance outrageous is one-time Madonna boy toy Jose Canseco.
“Oh, my God! Doesn’t she realize she is 60-years old? Come on!” the former baseball slugger told Us Weekly over the weekend.
As for what’s motivating the pop star’s romance, it could have something to do with her October split from ex-husband Guy Ritchie.
“She loves showing her ex that she can still get the youngest, hottest thing out there,” a source close to the singer told Us.
