HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Country star Taylor Swift says she’s looking forward to spending some quality time with her pal Miley Cyrus.
“Miley Cyrus is awesome. I love her so much. She is so incredibly funny and sweet!” the 18-year-old Taylor said during an appearance on NBC’s “Today” show on Monday.
According to reports, Swift will be making a cameo appearance in Cyrus’ upcoming “Hannah Montana” movie, which is currently being shot in Nashville.
“It’s fun to get to see her because we both have been on the road constantly, and with us both in Nashville now, it will be cool to get to hang out with her,” Swift added.
Last week, it was announced that country super group Rascal Flatts would also appear in the movie. Others scheduled to appear include “American Idol” alum Bucky Covington and up-and-coming artist Marcel. All three artists belong to the same label — Disney-owned Lyric Street Records.
Disney’s “Hannah Montana: The Movie,” which star Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, is scheduled to be released in 2009.
