HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller tied the knot Friday night at a private estate in Los Angeles.
The couple exchanged vows in front of approximately 60 friends and family members, with Mueller wearing a Reem Acra gown, according to People magazine.
“Brooke really wanted to walk down the aisle in a big way, but Charlie insisted they keep it simple and small,” a source tells the mag.
Sheen, 42, and Mueller, 29, got engaged last July when the actor presented the real estate investor with a $500,000 ring.
The couple met at a party in 2006, shortly after Sheen split with ex-wife Denise Richards.
This is the third marriage for Sheen, who first married model Donna Pelle in September 1995. The couple divorced a year later.
Sheen and Richards tied the knot on June 15, 2002. The actress filed for divorce in 2006 and the couple has since engaged in bitter custody battle over their two daughters, Sam, 4, and Lola, 2.
The “Two and a Half Men” star also has a daughter, Cassandra, 23, from a previous relationship.
This is the first marriage for Mueller, who spoke out earlier this year on Richard’s new E! reality show.
“Charlie and I both think it’s exploitative and not good,” she told Usmagazine.com. “But the judge ruled in her favor so there’s nothing we can do.”
