PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — Actor Gary Dourdan was arrested early yesterday in Palm Springs, Calif. for alleged possession of heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs, TMZ.com reports.
A patrol officer discovered the 41-year-old “CSI” star parked on the wrong side of the street and asleep in his car at 5:21 a.m., TMZ says.
The actor was then taken to a jail in the desert town, where he was later released after posting a $5,000 bail, according to TMZ.
Dourdan had spent his weekend attending the Coachella Music Festival, which was held in nearby Indio, Calif.
Earlier this month, it was reported that Dourdan, who plays investigator Warrick Brown on “CSI,” has decided to leave the eight-year-old CBS drama series.
The star’s contract was set to expire at the end of the current season, and the decision was said to be a mutual one between Dourdan and producers.
