HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. — Mixed marital arts fighter Tito Ortiz was arrested Monday morning for felony domestic violence following an alleged domestic dispute with live-in girlfriend Jenna Jameson at their Southern California home.
Police were called to the couple’s house in Huntington Beach around 9:53 a.m. Ortiz was handcuffed and taken away to the local jail, where he was later released after posting $25,000 bail.
Jameson, 36, was photographed later in the day wearing giant sunglasses and an arm brace. She told TMZ that she feels "betrayed" and has already filed a restraining order against Ortiz, 35.
"Tito is a loving, sweet man and I’ve always supported him through everything," the porn star said through tears as she packed items into a car with her father, who was the one who dialed 911. "For him to lash out at me like this is shocking, and I feel completely betrayed…And I feel bad for my children."
Later in the day, Jameson told TMZ that she hopes to work things out with Ortiz, but the couple is prohibited from seeing each other for the next month.
"For the sake of the children, we definitely need to talk," she said.
UFC founder Dana White said the incident could spell the end for Ortiz in his octagon.
"We’re gonna be fair, but we could cut him," White told TMZ. "Other than going on a killing spree, being accused of domestic violence is the worst thing you can have going for you."
Jameson and Ortiz have been dating since 2006. They welcomed twin sons Jesse and Journey in March 2009.
