NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The biggest stars in country music put on an amazing red carpet show at the 44th Annual CMA Awards held Wednesday night in Nashville.
Among those earning best dressed nods on the red carpet were Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Gwyneth Paltrow, Julianne Hough, Katherine Heigl, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, Laura Bell Bundy, LeAnn Rimes, Leighton Meester, Miranda Lambert and Nicole Kidman.
Some of the stars falling into the worst dressed category included Kellie Pickler, Meghan Linsey and Sheryl Crow.
It was a big night Lambert and her beau Blake Shelton, who got engaged earlier this year. Lambert took home honors for Female Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year and Album of the Year for "Revolution," while Shelton won Male Vocalist of the Year and for Musical Event of the Year for his duet with Trace Adkins, "Hillbilly Bone." The night’s biggest prize went to show co-host Brad Paisley, who won the coveted Entertainer of the Year award for the first time.
