Christina Aguilera’s National Anthem Super Bowl Mistake
DALLAS — Her voice was Super Bowl material, but Christina Aguilera fell victim to a national anthem mess up.
The 30-year-old singer butchered several lyrics while belting out the anthem before Sunday’s showdown between the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers at Cowboys Stadium in Texas.
"What so proudly we watched at the twilight’s last gleaming," sang Aguilera, who at least proved she was singing live because she never missed a beat.
Aguilera, who made her big-screen debut last year in Burlesque, is a five-time Grammy award winning singer-songwriter. She previously performed at the Super Bowl halftime show in 2000.
