HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Michael Jackson not dead rumors started buzzing the Web late Tuesday, exactly two months after the King of Pop died from an apparent cardiac arrest.
Fans of the fallen pop star have been flooding Internet search giant Google with “Michael Jackson not dead?” requests.
The Jackson not dead report comes just days after a law enforcement official speaking on condition of anonymity told the Associated Press that the singer’s death had been ruled a homicide. The official said forensic tests found the powerful anesthetic propofol in Jackson’s system, along with two sedatives.
The findings could signal that criminal charges will soon be filed against the entertainer’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, who was with Jackson when he fell ill and has been the primary target in what has been labeled as a manslaughter investigation.
The 50-year-old Jackson feel ill at his home on June 25 and was rushed to UCLA Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
