PHILADELPHIA — Susan Finkelstein may think twice the next time she wants to go to a baseball game.
The 43-year-old Philadelphia suburban woman was arrested for allegedly trying to trade sex for tickets to the upcoming World Series, according to KYW-TV.
“This is just an individual that got caught up in it, I guess in the hype of the Phillies World Series, she wanted her ticket at any cost and was willing to go the extra mile,” Fred Harran of the Bensalem Police Department, told the CBS station.
Police say Finkelstein posted an ad on Craig’s List that described herself as a “gorgeous, tall, buxom blonde diehard Phillies fan” in desperate need of two World Series tickets. She listed the price she was willing to pay as negotiable, while mentioning that she was “the creative type.”
“Maybe we can help each other!” she wrote.
Undercover agents wound up arresting Finkelstein at a bar and she was subsequently charged with soliciting prostitution.
“She basically said that she would trade sexual favors for a Phillies ticket. She was creative, she didn’t have any money. I don’t know what the Series tickets are going for, but she decided that she would give herself up for some World Series tickets,” said Harran.
The Phillies will square off Wednesday night against the New York Yankees in game one of the World Series.
