HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — A Taylor Lautner dead rumor was buzzing the Web on Sunday in what appears to be the latest celebrity hoax as no credible source was cited.
Last week, the 17-year-old Twilight star took home the breakout movie actor award at the People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles, thanks to his breakout role of Jacob Black in the hit vampire franchise.
Lautner will soon be trading in his fangs for a pair of wings as he’ll star as an aerobatic pilot in the action movie Northern Lights. Set against the backdrop of extreme flying, the picture follows four young pilots as they compete against the world’s best.
Production on the movie kicks off in Louisiana this April.
Lautner, who recently split with Taylor Swift, was a four-time world champion of extreme martial arts by age 11.
