Portrait of pure class!
Just two weeks after marrying George Clooney, Amal Alamuddin Clooney was spotted making her way through Heathrow Airport after working with the Greek government on Thursday, Oct. 16, for her first post-wedding appearance back in London.
Now that the hoopla surrounding the couple’s extravagant wedding weekend has wrapped, the British barrister is shelving her elegant gowns, and getting back to her sensible work wardrobe.
Mrs. Clooney, 36, stepped out in a ladylike black and white dress ensemble, featuring a checkered print collar by Oscar de la Renta, who also designed her wedding gown. She paired the look, reminiscent of Jackie O, with huge round sunglasses and black pointy-toe pumps. Coincidentally, Taylor Swift wore the same designer frock in New York City in May 2014, marking the second time the pair have worn the same Oscar dress.

As the newlywed has gotten back to work, her actor-husband did the same at Comic-Con in New York City on Thursday, Oct. 9, where he joked being at the event for his honeymoon.
“It’s not lost on me that I’m spending my honeymoon at Comic-Con,” Clooney said to the audience. “My wife was as confused about what Comic-Con was as you are.”
Amal and George Clooney tied the knot in Venice, Italy, at the Aman Canal Grande hotel on Saturday, Sept. 27.
