2015 is going to be a busy year for Amanda Peet. She just welcomed her third son (a boy Henry!), she’ll be supporting husband David Benioff (the co-creator of Game of Thrones) at the Golden Globes and she has a new show, Togetherness. But the actress plays the opposite of a busy mom of three in the HBO series, created by the Jay and Mark Duplass — the role involves her taking off her clothing a lot.

Peet, who selected a Marc Jacobs dress and Forget Me Not jacket for Tuesday’s event, is no a stranger to stripping down onscreen, but as she gets older she feels the experience has changed.
“It’s different than doing nudity when you’re younger and stuff,” she explained. “Just because I wish I looked better, but it was really just a joy honestly. They made me want to work really hard and I loved it.”
So what’s the best way to prep for a nude scene? According to Pete, you have to just wing it. “It’s sort of like, ‘You swallow your pride you vain idiot,’” she quipped.
