After her show-stopping heels took a break for the Maleficent premiere in Los Angeles last Thursday, Angelina Jolie is once again wearing her custom Christian Louboutin heels while promoting the smash film in Shanghai on June 3.
Paired with a long-sleeved Michael Kors black dress, the Oscar winner, 38, made a statement in the horn-inspired gold wedges that the celeb-loved shoe designer produced in black, white and red as well.
“It’s exciting to work with a film that has such a strong aesthetic and a character as great as Maleficent,” Louboutin told Us Weekly. “I’ve been under the charm and spell of Angelina and her character.”
Jolie first wore the eye-catching shoes in black in London at a private exhibition of costumes and props for the film on May 8. She then brought them out the next day in white for the photo call.
However, when Jolie attended the Hollywood premiere with five of her six children and fiance Brad Pitt, not a horn was in sight as she paired her strapless Atelier Versace gown with platform heels and gold spiked jewelry. In any case, the worldwide promotional blitz for the Sleeping Beauty villainess epic worked: Maleficent marks the biggest box office opening weekend ever for Jolie.
