The sky-high wedge featured a sinister heel inspired by Maleficent’s horns — sometimes dripping with blood. Jolie, 39, wore the heels in black, white and gold during the promo tour, although Louboutin also designed the nearly five-inch wedges in red.
“It’s exciting to work with a film that has such a strong aesthetic and a character as great as Maleficent,” Louboutin told Us Weekly. “I’ve been under the charm and spell of Angelina and her character.”

Lovers of the custom “Malangeli” Loubs have the chance to snag their very own pair through pre-order at select Christian Louboutin flagship stores, including New York City and West Hollywood. The 96 pairs will retail for $1,495, with the profits benefiting SOS Children’s Village, an organization close to Jolie’s heart that helps orphaned and abandoned children.
