Beyonce and Rihanna both arrived fashionably late to the 2015 Grammys red carpet on Feb. 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and it was worth the wait! With minimal makeup, the two songstresses let their ensembles do the talking for them.

Beyonce, with her hair long and in loose waves, bared her cleavage and curves in a custom black embroidered Proenza Schouler. Blue Ivy’s mom, who scored a Grammy for Best Surround Sound and Best R&B song, is also up for Album of the Year. Jay Z’s wife paired her form-fitting gown with Balenciaga shoes and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
With equally minimal makeup, Rihanna stole the show. The “Diamonds” singer arrived just minutes before the award show kicked off in a pink tulle Giambattista Valli gown.
While talking with Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, “The Monster” singer admitted she saw the vibrant gown and had to have it. “I saw this dress on the Internet and I just fell in love with it,” she told Seacrest while running into the show.
RiRi also scored a Grammy tonight. Chris Brown’s ex was crowned for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “The Monster” featuring Eminem.
