She’s not exactly someone you’d want to take relationship advice from, but House of Cards‘ Claire Underwood is no doubt a boss when it comes to power dressing. And now, with her husband taking over as president this season, her style is about to become even more elevated than it was before.
To help take her character from politician’s wife and CEO to first lady of the United States, Robyn Wright enlisted the help of her personal stylist, Kemal Harris. “You can see Claire is more like a contemporary Princess Diana and less like Jackie Kennedy,” Harris told Women’s Wear Daily when asked about her style. Claire will also be wearing a variety of designers in the next few episodes, from Ralph Lauren to Proenza Schouler to Alexander McQueen. We sure are in for a treat.
