Diane Kruger takes her selfies very seriously. The 38-year-old actress posted a bare-faced snap on Instagram, and she was surprised by how young she looked.

“don’t know why I still look like a teenager sometimes..#Sky #nomakeup #thegoodolddays,” she captioned the above photo, on set of her latest film Sky. (Whatever her skin routine is, it’s working.)
In 2013, Kruger told DuJour magazine that she feels more comfortable in her skin now then she did when she was in her 20s.
“I would say that I’m kinder to myself,” she shared. “Even though I loved being 20, I’m not nostalgic about my beauty at that time … If I’m happier now, then I’m more beautiful than I was before.”

And when she likes to be in control of her own beauty looks. “I prefer to do my own makeup,” she added. “I want above all to look like myself. Feeling beautiful is a private emotion [and] this helps me put things in perspective, accept myself as I am.”
