Sorry, crop tops — this spring, it’s all about the midi skirt.
Eloquii, the go-to plus-size fashion brand, went directly to its fanbase when casting models for the Spring 2015 lookbook.

Six women, who are also fashion-minded bloggers, put their own spin on the midi skirt. Sarah Conley of Style It, Liz Black of P.S. Its Fashion, Clementine Desseaux of Bonjour Clem, Kellie Brown of And I Get Dressed, and Chante Burkett of Everything Curvy and Chic, gathered to have a #MidiMoment for the lookbook.
“The midi has gone from being a trend item to a wardrobe staple for spring and summer, ” the brand’s Creative Director, Jodi Arnold, told Yahoo Style. “It’s one of those items that a girl wears and instantly feels chic and put together.”

Brown, who sported a pleated floral skirt in the shoot feels Eloquii understands its customers’ needs. “[Eloquii] does a great job at both employing and consulting with stylish, plus-size women, which I think makes them a lot more fearless in their approach to design,” And I Get Dressed blogger told The Huffington Post.

Style It founder Conley, who wears a lime green skirt in the lookbook, echoed her fellow model’s stance. “Fashion is about self-expression, but you don’t see that represented in the market,” she explained. “I’d love to see plus-size brands wake up and realize that if they want to offer fashion (as so many claim to do), they need to have a point of view.”
