True story: The editor writing this post had a dream last night that Emma Stone got a pixie cut! And she’s feeling a little psychic, because while the actress didn’t chop off all her tresses (like her boyfriend and co-star Andrew Garfield) she did surprise us with a mane move mid Spider-Man tour by cutting some long, piecey bangs.
This isn’t the star’s first foray into fringe. She’s sported bangs before (including for her role of Spidey’s love Gwen Stacy), but she usually keeps them swept to one side. This time she’s cut them straight across her forehead — and it also appears that the star might have lightened up her hue with some blonde ombré highlights as seen during her visit to SiriusXM studios Thursday (right photo above).

Stone’s promo tour for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 has been jam-packed with head-turning fashion and beauty moments. And we love that the actress is still keeping us on our toes. (Who knows, maybe a pixie is in her future!)
The star recently told Vogue she’s never thought of herself has a style setter, saying, “It’s fun to get to borrow a dress for a night and dress up for something.” She also referenced a nickname she’s seen about herself on the Internet: “That bland basic b—h.” And while she takes it all in stride, there’s nothing bland or basic about the star’s style or her fun new hair look.
