Emma Watson Creates Some Magic at Paris Fashion Week

She might not want people to think fashion is her “main thing,” but it’s hard to ignore Emma Watson‘s style prowess. And this week it’s been nearly impossible — just check out the bold (and unexpected) fashion moves she’s made while in the City of Light for haute couture fashion week.

Watson went the most casual to sit front row at Giambattista Valli, wearing a draped black blouse and coordinating J Brand jeans with a pink lip for a pop of color. At the Valentino show, she also chose black, but was definitely more daring in a two-piece lace design that showed off her midriff. And not even her toned frame could distract us from that single statement Delfina Delettrez pearl earring dangling from her left ear, which we hunted down for you if you’re looking to splurge.

She continued her chic streak in a navy Dior top with structured sleeves, floral print skirt and coordinating suede heels for the label’s dinner party. And lastly, marking her most mature look of the week, the actress selected a Givenchy suit featuring an oversize blazer with satin lapels and flared pant. She topped the look with a patent leather belt for a sleek silhouette. We’ve given Watson props for venturing into menswear in the past, and we like that she’s exploring the trend even more.

Watson recently opened up about her fashion icons, and it’s clear she’s starting to take her budding fashionista reputation more seriously.

“I love Cate Blanchett. She always wears something that’s a little unexpected but is very beautiful and classic at the same time,” Watson, 23, told PEOPLE, adding that she also keeps her eye on a fellow Brit. “I’m always interested to see what Tilda Swinton wears. I think she’s amazing.”
