Shimmery Eye Shadow
If you’re all about the glitter and glitz for the holiday, then a shimmery eye shadow, like Lambert’s from the American Country Countdown Awards, is the perfect NYE look for you. Just coat your favorite copper shadow on your lids for a smoky-eye effect. Then, to really make your eyes pop (like Lambert’s blue beauties), brush on some silver shadow in the inner corners and skim a brown eyeliner on the lower lash line. Then Brush on a couple of coats of mascara, and you’re good to go!

Exaggerated Cat Eye
Cat-eye liner is a universal makeup trick that looks great on just about everyone. But the exaggerated version? Well, it’s a little harder to apply during the day, but it’s the perfect look for a party-filled night. Kruger’s take on the trendy liner look is easy to replicate at home. First, follow our easy six-step tutorial on nailing the winged liner look, then simply repeat the process over again slightly above the first winged line. Within minutes you’ll have a bolder, darker cat eye to pair with your sparkly New Year’s Eve dress!
Bright, Bold Lip
Ladies, leave the lip gloss at home tonight, and instead opt for a darker, richer hue, like Blunt’s. Just add a swipe of your favorite dark lip stain (red, wine, plum, etc.) to your pout before heading out to pair with your winged-out liner or shimmery eyes for a pop of color and a whole lot of glam!
