In today’s world, it seems that every supermodel is trying to stretch her résumé as far as she can: model/actress/designer/chef/aspiring astronaut (the list goes on and on). And now we can add “modeling agent” and “sunglasses creator” to that ongoing list, thanks to two of the buzziest models in the business, Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss.

First up: Delevingne’s upcoming collaboration with DKNY, for which she’s designing a capsule collection and choosing models for the campaign. “I can’t believe that some random, rough ideas have finally turned into my own collection,” Delevingne says to WWD. “It is so wild to realize that it has been an entire year since we began planning this project together … goes to show that time does fly when you’re having fun.”
According to the article, the collection will feature 15 pieces ranging from sweatsuits and beanies, to leather bombers and moto jackets. And in addition to Delevingne sporting her own wares in the upcoming campaign, she’ll help choose two to three additional models via Instagram. Think you’ve got the next-best eyebrows? All you have to do is upload a picture of yourself with hashtags #CaraWantsYou and #Cara4DKNY for a chance to pose alongside the kooky superstar.
Another model who’s been honing her designer skills is Karlie Kloss. Taylor Swift’s bestie collaborated with eyewear label Warby Parker to create a line of retro-looking sunglasses for the brand. Every pair of frames sold will go towards supporting the Edible Schoolyard NYC program, which partners with public schools to build gardens and kitchen classrooms that educate children on proper eating.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Kloss has dipped a toe into the design pool. Last year, the Victoria’s Secret supermodel worked on a collaboration with Frame Denim to create a collection of long-legged jeans. But this marks her first foray into accessories — and you can pick up your own pair for $145 here.
