Kendall Jenner is pretty hot right now — and by that we mean both that she’s having a major moment and she’s totally gorgeous. As such, we’ve been taking more and more style cues from the 19-year-old model. So far she’s taught us how to wear head-to-toe neutrals, and how to make our undies work with us–not against us–if and when we ever dare to wear a revealing dress. And, just in time for holiday party season, the new face of Estée Lauder is inspiring us to break out the shimmery shadow for our upcoming parties thanks to her fresh take on a sparkly, smoky eye.

For her understatedly dazzling look, makeup artist Rob Scheppy illuminated the model’s lids with shades from Estée Lauder’s Ivory Power palette. He concentrated the iciest tones in the inner corner of the eyes and along the lash line, blending it out with a deeper neutral color to create a softer sheen at her outer corners. On the upper lid, liquid liner with a mini flick at the outer corners defined her eyes, while layers of mascara (’tis the season to pile it on!) made them pop. For a fresher feel (since you’re likely not hitting a red carpet before your holiday parties) avoid the pageant-y look of fake lashes

Scheppy then stuck to a palette of peach tones to give her skin a subtle glow. He swept Estée Lauder’s Lover’s Blush on her cheeks, and applied a light coat of the brand’s “Star Pink” gloss (a shiny rosy nude) on her mouth. The result? A look that’s radiant and, paired with variation of her family’s signature slicked-back hair, totally modern, too.
