Where was our invite?! Jennifer Aniston joined her fiance Justin Theroux at an intimate star-studded dinner for Details magazine at the Sunset Tower in L.A. on Tuesday, July 15. The magazine’s August 2014 cover star and the A-list actress were joined by pals like Courteney Cox, her fiance Johnny McDaid, Chelsea Handler, Mary McCormack, and Malin Akerman.
Aniston, 45, wore a black top and leather-panel blazer for the occasion, while Theroux, 42, looked handsome in a black suit and skinny tie. The couple posed for a picture with Details‘ Editor-in-Chief Dan Peres, and were snapped mingling with guests during the cocktail hour.

Inside the dinner, Theroux dashingly joked around with his guests including Akerman — who stunned in an LBD — and her boyfriend Colin Egglesfield.

Another image featured the evening’s man of the hour entertaining the recently-engaged Cox and her fiance McDaid. Cox, of course, caught up with her best friend Aniston at the event, too. The Friends alums were photographed nursing their cocktails as Aniston focused on their conversation.

Another close friend of Aniston, comedienne Chelsea Handler, was snapped laughing with McCormack’s husband, director Michael Morris. The married couple — reconciled after Morris, 56, was photographed kissing Smash starlet Katharine McPhee, 30 — were later snapped listening to an animated Theroux tell a story at one point.
Guests noshed on a four-course meal, which included healthy options like a grilled peach and candied walnut salad, grilled salmon, quinoa with roasted veggies, and a final course featuring a decadent chocolate mousse topped with fresh berries.

An observer inside the Hollywood hotspot’s lobby told Us Weekly that Theroux looked “completely enamored” with Aniston when they walked in together. Although the evening was for Theroux, his lady “completely lit up the room,” the eyewitness said.
