If you feel like you’ve been seeing Jerry Seinfeld everywhere lately, it’s because this year marks the 25th anniversary of his landmark sitcom, and people are feeling nostalgic. But the comedian himself isn’t stuck in the past — in fact, he’s even trying new things. Like modeling, for instance. Yes, we’re serious.
And there’s no puffy shirt or “manssiere” here — Seinfeld’s look is all modern. He was photographed in Rag & Bone for a series of photos promoting their upcoming menswear collection; cofounders Marcus Wainwright and David Neville snapped a number of close friends in the clothes, including their wives and the owner of one of their favorite bars, to showcase their latest designs. (See more examples from the exhibit below.)

Seinfeld shows off a pretty good “Blue Steel” in the shot at left, in which he poses in pinstriped pants and a button-up — but his sense of humor is more on display in the black-and-white portrait, which shows him looking wryly at the camera with an expression we recognize from, yep, Seinfeld. We’d say he gives his fellow Rag & Bone model (and ’90s mainstay) Winona Ryder a run for her modeling money.
Is Seinfeld a natural model? What do you think of his fashion debut?
