Jessica Alba Reveals the Most Shocking Thing in Her Beauty Cabinet

We thought Jessica Alba‘s skin was perfect from all that hot yoga she does. But the star also makes sure to follow a routine to keep her complexion flawless. Even if that means scaring her family sometimes.

“When I put on one of those face masks — the best ones are from Korea — it’s definitely shocking,” she tells PEOPLE. “I look like a serial killer from an ’80s horror movie.”

What else can you find in the star’s beauty cabinet? Lots of eco-friendly products from her reported billion-dollar company Honest, which is currently joining the Movember movement (you know, where the guys you know grow out their facial hair for a good cause) by donating $1 from each purchase made on certain products (form toothpaste to lip balm).

“Movember is important to me because I’ve got men in my life that I want to live the longest and healthiest lives possible — my dad, my husband and my brother,” she shares. “Men are 24 percent less likely to have visited the doctor in the past year, so it’s a cool, memorable way to remind men that we’re looking out for them and that they need to take care of themselves.”

So does her husband Cash Warren join in on the cause?

“My brother does it every year, but my father and husband take a little more convincing,” she shares. “This cause has picked up so much steam, and more of my friends are doing it every year.”

She also thinks the mustache-print fad — from clothes to magnets! — is here to stay.

“Parents love our Honest diapers with mustache print,” she says. “It’s hip for the parents and sweet for the kids. Moderation is the key with any print, but I don’t think the mustache is going away anytime soon.”
