After seeing Kate Middleton and Prince William make their way into The Carlyle hotel Sunday evening and then to a private dinner shortly afterward, we had high hopes for the duchess’s New York ensembles. After all, she strolled the streets of New York in a glittering Seraphine coat and an Amara lace Beulah London cocktail dress ($797), all in just a few hours.
Of course, the duchess’s stylish daytime looks didn’t disappoint – she channeled her inner-New Yorker when she visited a child development center in Harlem in a sophisticated Washington coatdress by Goat ($835), and then she slipped into something a bit more casual.
Kate aptly chose a shimmering tweed coat by American designer Tory Burch for both the Conservation Reception – where the duke and duchess met with Hilary and Chelsea Clinton – and the Brooklyn Nets game, immediately following.
Even though all eyes were on the royal couple, it’s clear Kate’s the one standing out – and we can’t say we’re surprised, since she has the very best accessory: a growing bay bump! Scroll down to get the details on everything the duke and duchess have worn in NY so far, and stay tuned for the next appearance from the impossibly chic pair.
