There are plenty of places to get inspiration for your Fourth of July festivities this weekend, but one of our favorites at the moment comes from an unlikely source: British royalty. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge has been stepping out this week in a variety of summer-perfect, ladylike outfits that happen to work quite well for our patriotic wardrobe plans this weekend.

Tuesday she visited a school in London wearing a tailored Goat dress in raspberry (which earned a compliment from 6-year-old student Seyi), which she teamed with nude heels, an L.K. Bennett clutch and a rare (for her) half-updo.

Wednesday the Duchess attended Wimbledon (and made some truly memorable tennis reaction faces in the stands) wearing the chic white Zimmermann dress she first donned for an event in Sydney, Australia. She also brought back a favorite clutch, a fan-shaped straw number she carried in Canada, and carried a red scarf for added color.

Earlier in the week, she was spotted leaving a charity event in another unusual look for her: a long-sleeved, loose-fitting day dress in a bold navy print. Her hair, however, was as flowing and shiny as ever. We’d be pretty happy to borrow any of these looks for the weekend — sure, they may not be BBQ-friendly, but it’s not like Kate is eating ribs and coleslaw anyway. We’d be willing to upgrade our weekend plans if she’d just send that cute white dress on over.

Which of these is your favorite? Are you loving her hair half-up like that?
