Temperatures in the northeast may be downright frigid this week, but that’s not keeping Kim Kardashian from her usual skin-baring fashion parade. On a windy 20° day when New Yorkers were bundled up in hats, scarves, boots and puffy jackets, the 34-year-old reality star proved that her style mantra is “fashion over function” — as she braved the chilly temps in plunging dresses, open-toe sandals and more (or should we say less?).

Thursday night Kardashian joined her husband Kanye West at John Legend’s birthday party. Her outfit? A plunging black dress featuring a thigh-high slit, which she teamed with open-toed shoes and a blazer. Sure, she was just hopping into a heated SUV, but her feet must have been freezing. (It’s not like she was wearing her rabbit fur-lined sandals.)

Earlier in the day, Kardashian walked around the Big Apple in a black bandage pencil skirt sans tights. She probably wanted to show off her perfect spray tan, but we’re cold just looking at the stars bare stems. And she didn’t go for anything warm on top either, wearing only a tiny moto-inspired jacket.
