Lady Gaga‘s Valentine’s Day included a new haircut and a proposal! And her long-time boyfriend Taylor Kinney didn’t pop the question with a classic-shaped engagement ring. He presented the singer with a diamond heart stone designed by celeb-loved jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

“The stone is big and quite beautiful, and actually more expensive than some of the estimates I have read,” Schwartz (the mastermind behind Kim Kardashian and Blake Lively’s engagement rings) told InStyle, remaining coy about the actual price or carat size.
“It’s a challenge to get an excellent heart shape with perfections — the shoulders of the gem have to be totally symmetrical; Lady Gaga’s is all that,” she added.

Kinney, 33, presented Gaga with the impressive sparkler on February 14, and the couple were reportedly spotted inside her family’s Manhattan restaurant later that night to celebrate their big news.
“He gave me his heart on Valentine’s Day, and I said YES!,” Gaga shared on Instagram.
In 2013, the star told Ellen DeGeneres that the couple loves just hanging home together.
“Having your lover be your best friend is the best thing ever,” she said. “We’re boys. I wear his flannels and we eat pizza and watch TV. And then I play him my next single. He likes it, and that’s our normal life.”
