Michele will play Gertie “an empathetic truck stop waitress and single mother, who connects with Gemma during a difficult time” in an upcoming episode of the hit FX show, which premieres on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 p.m.

Michele has been busy filming the sixth and final season of Glee. FOX recently announced that her character Rachel Berry would be heading back to Lima, Ohio to run the New Directions.
