We love her style, haircut and hit TV show, so we’re pretty excited about Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale’s latest ad campaign for Mark cosmetic’s Naked Love collection. That’s why we had to ask the actress all about her beauty routine (and that amazing lob!). Below, we rounded up our favorite new facts about her.

• She never leaves her house without red lipstick
“My current favorite is Mark’s lipclick lipstick in Cha Cha. There is nothing more classic than a bold red lip.”
• She’s still adjusting to short hair
“I had been thinking about cutting my hair for a little while, and we were finishing up filming Pretty Little Liars for the season so the timing just seemed right. Once I cut it short the first time, I just kept going. I’m still getting used to styling it though. I’ve been practicing creating waves with a flat iron recently.”
• She might get a pixie
Okay, not like tomorrow. “Maybe when I’m a bit older.”
• She prefers skinny jeans over LBDs
“I’m originally from Tennessee so I’m a laid back country girl at heart.”
• And she loves an at-home date night
“But only if you’re comfortable with the person. Netflix and take-out food trumps anything.”
Kelsey Deenihan, Hale’s makeup master who worked with her on the shoot and has just been named the label’s new celebrity makeup artist, told PEOPLE that the actress is just as c as she seems.
“Lucy trusts my judgment if I have a specific look in mind, but usually we like to talk it out and collectively come up with a game plan,” she said.
For big red carpet events, Deenihan loves to focus her attention on Hale’s eyes.
“I tend to love to do looks on Lucy that really make her eyes pop and be the focus of the face.” she shared. “My go to is a bronze smokey eye that compliments her green eyes.”
