Unlike some stars who love to add extensions to their pixie cuts (see: Pamela Anderson and Jennifer Lawrence), Miley Cyrus has truly embraced her short style. But she just recently made a subtle color change to her Twiggy-inspired do.

Cyrus posted a video on Instagram Sunday (watch it below!) showing off what looks to be a new white-blonde hair hue. But we wouldn’t get too attached to the totally ’90s color, which has some editors crying “spray job.” Regardless, Cyrus seems to be going in the opposite direction of the dark roots thing that’s happening right now in Hollywood.
After being hospitalized for an allergic reaction last month, the actress has picked up her world-traveling Bangerz tour — most recently performing in Finland — and she seems to be back to her energetic self.

The actress recently revealed in an interview with Elle magazine that her fans are the ones that help her through difficult times. “That gives me a big purpose — a reason to wake up in the morning that’s bigger than to put on my f—ing feathers and my little outfits.”
