The department store is having a mega after-Christmas sale with pieces ranging from 25-75% off. So what’s in my cart right now? This navy Rebecca Minkoff satchel (which is marked down more than $100!) and this Sam Edelman faux suede “Claire” jacket (which I can totally picture hanging in Blake Lively‘s impressive coat closet.) Both are staple pieces that I can wear with just about anything, and the slashed price tags will make me feel great about the purchase.

Catherine Kast, Style Writer: Anthropologie sales get me every time; I always enter thinking I’m only going to get those Rachel Comey booties I’ve been dreaming about and instead emerge with more wearable blankets and peasant tops than I know what to do with. But with an additional 25% off sale items, I simply cannot stay away. This sale is perfect for helping me stock up on my favorite seasonal gear: statement cold-weather accessories. For around $50, you can get these Faux Fur Earmuffs (they’re a little bit like the ones Taylor Swift has, but with a rustic embroidery on the band) and these bright blue Albaron Gloves. Well, I won’t go to the mall for less than 40 percent off. That’s why post-holiday season is the best shopping, since prices are usually slashed in half (if not more). That’s the case right now at Aritzia, where every item in the store (and online) is one sale. I skipped the 20-30 percent section and went straight for the bigger discounts. My top picks: the Auxilary Bega Satchel Bag in wine which is marked down to $260 from $328 despite being one of the hottest totes of the season (three editors in the style department have that exact style).

The backpack is such a fun, vibrant blue and will add a pop of color to my mostly black weekend wardrobe.
