Nicole Richie has been spending a lot of time at the salon lately. After dyeing her hair a bright-pink hue a few weeks ago, the star debuted a new cut at Tom Ford’s Fall 2015 fashion show Friday night — a super-shaggy pixie!

We wonder if Richie’s short cut was also a spur-of-the-moment decision like her color change from midnight blue to pink.
“Andy Lecompte, who does my hair, is coincidentally one of my best friends. We have grown up together — I kind of started my career at the same time as he did, and that’s just been the nature of our friendship,” she told PEOPLE recently. “And it’s been him experimenting on my hair [for years].”
She added of the moment she went pink, “I was at home one day, [Lecompte and I] had the music going, and it kind of just happened. It was on a random Tuesday. It was very spur of the moment.”
The 33-year-old Candidly Nicole star teamed her piecey pixie with a long-sleeve, sequin turtleneck gown (from the designer’s Spring 2011 collection) for her front row appearance. And she was one of many A-list stars to attend the show.

Beyoncé and Jay-Z showed their support to the designer, and Bey also showed off a new shorter do, quite different than the long waves she’s been sporting.

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello, Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger, Fergie and Josh Duhamel and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jason Statham, plus, Oscar nominees Julianne Moore and Reese Witherspoon (which supports our theory that Moore will wear Tom Ford to the Academy Awards Sunday!)
