Let’s face it: Oprah Winfrey is Santa for adults. The queen of gift giving dedicated the December issue of O, The Oprah Magazine to her favorite things, and we have a sneak peek at her most stylish picks (as well as her cover shoot!).

Winfrey wears a festive Truly Zac Posen for David’s Bridal gown for the holiday issue, and says getting dressed up for the shoot was a highlight.
“Zac was underneath my dress yesterday,” she jokes in the issue of the time she first modeled the dramatic red design, featuring a satin skirt with a 400-inch circumference, for the designer.
Dressing up in the ball gown was the easy part. Winfrey put a lot of hard work into compiling the rest of the issue, curating that famous list of products she loves.
“I tasted, I tested, I sniffed, I touched, I lotioned, I potioned, I snuggled, I brewed, I steeped, I read, I shared, I dared, and then I did it all again… and again… and again,” she says. “These wonderful things — large, small, glittery, or truffled (especially truffled) — are my favorite gifts to give and receive.”

Moving to the bottom photo, Winfrey jumps on the Warby Parker bandwagon featuring the brand’s fashionable frames, plus, super-cozy Uggs “Alena” slippers, Edward Bess Black Sea precious pearl skin perfecter and personalized Sequin Star zodiac map necklaces.
Why does Winfrey feel so passionately about her annual favorite things list? “It’s the holiday season and one of the things I love the most about it is that we collectively, as human beings, have agreed that this is the season of giving,” she says.
