Rihanna channels her wild side for a provocative cover for W‘s September issue. The “We Found Love” singer, 26, strikes a seductive stare while decked out with over-the-top jewels and moody makeup.
Wearing a Donna Karan New York dress for the cover shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Rihanna also models an Ashley Lloyd headdress, Amrapali ruby and diamond ear cuffs, a Meadowlark septum ring, and a sterling silver and pyrite necklace by Stephen Dweck.

“Rihanna came [to the shoot] with her own mental mood board, channeling the power of Grace Jones and the sophistication of Josephine Baker,” says editor-in-chief Stefano Tonchi.
