We’d like to introduce you to Ryan Gosling, the slick, dark-haired businessman. Well, at least that’s who the Hollywood heartthrob plays in his latest movie, The Big Short, which he’s filming now in New Orleans. And he just debuted his hair transformation on set Wednesday.

Gosling dyed his sandy brown hair almost black to get in character for the film adaptation of Michael Lewis’s novel The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine. Gosling joins some other guys we have a crush on (Brad Pitt, Christian Bale and Steve Carell) in the movie (directed by Adam McKay), which explores how the housing and credit bubble caused the 2008 financial crisis.
