The Modern Family star, 23, pounded the pavement following a Good Morning America appearance in the Shih Oversized Collarless Coat by Alice + Olivia coat. Hyland paired the $550 sophisticated number (available in December) with mustard-hued Issa pants and a sheer white button-up blouse.

On the same day, the actress wore the powerful topper again with a pink and red floral Blumarine dress and bright sandals.

At 5’2”, the petite actress is confident when it comes to embracing new trends, like autumn’s statement coat — as long as it flatters her body type. “Dress to fit your figure,” she told fashion website Sheknows.com. “I have really long legs and a short torso, so I like to show off my legs more than my torso.”
