The Willis girls love nothing more than making a style statement. Rumer is constantly changing up her hair. Tallulah recently shaved hers off. And Scout, a key supporter of the Free the Nipple movement, has recently committed to letting other things be free as well.

For her first photography exhibition at London’s Hoxton Gallery, Willis wore a formfitting slip dress, loose locks and — as many people on social media pointed out — visibly long underarm hair. And she hinted that she might be heading in that direction with a photo of Sophia Loren she posted on Twitter before the exhibit.
Of course, Willis’s more natural look has Hollywood precedent. Madonna shared a photo on Instagram with the caption “Long hair…… Don’t Care!!!!!!”. Julia Roberts and Drew Barrymore both famously attended major Hollywood events with unshaven pits. And of course, stars like Patti Smith and Helena Bonham-Carter never conformed to stringent Hollywood standards of beauty.

And even though it seemed that she had an inkling that she might get a reaction from her hippie-chick styling, Willis still expressed her disappointment with the world on Twitter.
