It’s not a country music show, but that didn’t stop Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, 29, from bringing big hair to the PEOPLE Magazine Awards red carpet. Seriously, her pixie reached new heights. Catch the gif below.

“Kaley’s look tonight was sexy and edgy,” her hairstylist Christine Symonds shares. “Her dress was heavily embellished so we kept the hair up and off her face with tons of texture.”
Are you looking to steal her style for your own pixie? Symonds also shared the rundown.
“I prepped Kaley’s damp hair with Kenra Body Boosting Spray Foam and then blow dried her hair back with the Ecotools Quick Volume Styler, over-directing the root to get the most volume. To finish the look I sprayed Batiste Dry Shampoo in her roots to keep the body and volume all night.”

Moving on to makeup, artist Kindra Mann says Kaley’s smoky eye “was inspired by the high neck line and beading on her dress.” She adds, “We knew we wanted to do something fun so we opted for a smoky eye that had a bit of sparkle in it.”
As for the rest of her look, she wanted to go for a more natural vibe. “We kept the skin soft and glowy so that the focus would stay on the eyes. The end result was a beautiful shimmery effect that played off the shimmer on the dress.”
To create the black smoky eye effect, Mann blended Chanel Illusion D’Ombre cream shadow in Mirifique over the lid and into the crease adding a highlight in the inner corner of the eye with Kevyn Aucoin loose shimmer shadow in Selenite. She completed the look by rimming the eye and water line with a black eye pencil by Charlotte Tilbury, and then topped everything off with Charlotte Tilbury’s Full Fat Lashes mascara.
