On our “Celebs Who Might Get Bobs” shortlist, we have any number of stars: Gwyneth Paltrow, for instance, and Olivia Munn. Nowhere on that list? Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. Her super-long, super-straight hair was such a signature look that we couldn’t imagine her going short — or even short-er. But she’s full of surprises (remember that Etsy shop?) and debuted a new do today.

She kicked the cut off with the below snap, showing her with super-long bright-red locks in a salon chair. “?” she wrote in the caption.

Then stylist Bradley Moreland posted a pic mid-makeover, showing how much length his client was about to lose. He also included a snap of himself with stylist Luis Miller showing the behind-the-scenes magic, and wrote “@lulu2038 & I working the glam squad dream team magic on @snookinic. #VidovSalon.”
The finished product? A softly curled-under cut that appears to hit just at her chin. The color appears to be a bit softer as well (though the selfie duckface remains the same!).
