Tallulah Willis is very candid when it comes to sharing her life on Instagram. So it’s no surprise she dedicated a string of photos to her most recent hair change: a bold buzz cut.

The fashion blogger shared a video of herself (below) shaving off her colorful strands. Her inspiration? Mom Demi Moore.

Moore famously shaved her head for her role in 1997′s GI Jane. Willis shared a photo of the bold look, along with the caption, “mawms is bae. #thankgodgoodheadshapesruninthefamily.”

The 20-year-old daughter of Moore and Bruce Willis spent six weeks in treatment this summer for various issues. She also bravely opened up about her struggles with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia in an emotional video.

Rumer Willis recently told PEOPLE she commends her youngest sister’s resilience.

“I’ve actually been so impressed and blown away by her strength and her openness and willingness,” Rumer shared. “Not only to move past things but also to share herself with other people. She’s doing really well.”
