Three Fun Ways to Wear Florals This Week

Florals are one of those perennial prints that work for every season, in any kind of clothing — they’re so versatile, they’re nearly a neutral. But they never look fresher than when worn in the last few weeks of spring and on the cusp of summer, as evidenced by these three stars. We rounded up looks that any girl can pull off, from sweet to sexy, to inspire you to dip back into your own floral wardrobe this week.

First up is Chrissy Teigen, who wore a full high-waisted floral skirt to attend the University of Pennsylvania graduation. (We’re pretty sure she had shoes on at one point, so just go with it.) The silhouette of the skirt is retro, but the cut of the blouse is more modern — it has a crop top-like vibe that updates the sweet petal print. A slightly messy updo and a gold clutch makes this perfect for any semi-dressy occasion.

Next, Bella Thorne gives girlie florals an edgy twist in this Fame & Partners shift dress made from polyurethane for a leather or coated look. Super-glam cat-eye shades and stacked sandals finished it off, playing up the bombshell vibe of the dress.

Finally, Jessica Alba picks a more playful way to wear the trend in this voluminous floral jumpsuit, which she tops with a chambray shirt and wears with pointy-toe flats. We usually associate the print with a flirty, feminine style, but this tomboyish take on it is very cool and relaxed.
